Members

Invite people, assign roles, and manage your workspace's members.

Members are the people who belong to your workspace. They can see and create content according to their role and the visibility rules of teams, folders, and projects.

This page covers the member lifecycle: inviting people, choosing their role, removing them, and the Verified domains shortcut for letting whole companies join automatically.

The Members Panel

Open SettingsWorkspaceSettingsMembers (the Workspace tab itself has Settings / Members / Access sub-modes — pick Members). The panel lists every member with their name, email, role, and the teams they belong to.

From here you can invite new people, change roles, manage team assignments, and remove members. Pending invitations live in their own section near the top — you can resend or cancel them.

Inviting Members

Open the invite dialog

Click Invite at the top of the panel.

Enter the recipient and role

Enter the recipient's email address and pick a role (described below), then send.

Manage the pending invite

Fuser emails the invitation and adds it to the Pending list. Invitations expire 7 days after they're sent. Until then, they stay open until the recipient accepts, you cancel them, or the 7-day window passes. You can resend the invitation at any time from the pending row — resending issues a fresh 7-day window.

The email contains a link to /invite/:id. Clicking it opens a Fuser page that shows the workspace name, the inviter, and the role being offered. Accepting joins the recipient to the workspace and drops them on its home page; declining marks the invite cancelled in your Pending list.

Seat limits

Workspaces have a seat limit set by the plan. See Workspace Billing in the settings modal for your current seats and limit.

Workspace Roles

Every member has one of three workspace roles. Roles stack — an Admin can do everything a Member can, and an Owner can do everything an Admin can.

RoleWhat it adds
OwnerDelete the workspace, transfer ownership, receive remaining workspace credits when the subscription is cancelled.
AdminManage members, create and manage teams, see all projects, update workspace settings, manage billing (incl. portal).
MemberCreate projects in places they can access, edit their own draft projects, join open teams.

You change a member's role from the Role dropdown next to their name. Use the checkbox at the start of each row to select multiple members and change their roles in bulk.

The last Owner is protected

A workspace must always have at least one Owner. The dropdown for the last remaining Owner is disabled — to demote them, first promote someone else to Owner. To leave a workspace you own, transfer ownership first.

Removing Members

Use the remove icon on a member's row to remove a single person, or select multiple rows and click Remove member to bulk-remove. Fuser asks for confirmation before applying.

Removal revokes access immediately

When you remove someone from the workspace, they lose access to every workspace project, folder, and share immediately. Their personal projects (those made outside any workspace) stay theirs. If you later re-invite the same person, you'll need to re-share anything they should still see.

Verified Domains

Verified domains let you skip individual invitations for your own company. Once a domain is verified for your workspace, anyone with a verified-email account at that domain can self-join (subject to seat capacity).

The flow for the joining user:

  1. They sign in to Fuser with their company email (the email address must be verified on their account — unverified accounts can't auto-join).
  2. They see a Join button for your workspace on their next sign-in.
  3. They click Join to accept and land in your workspace.

Setup lives in SettingsWorkspaceSettingsVerified Domains. You add the domain and an admin email address that can prove ownership; Fuser sends a verification link to that address. For the full setup walkthrough see Workspace Settings — Verified Domains.
